Dogma
Opella is devoted to the cause her brother, Eris, set forth, but in a much gentler way. While he has his members forming groups and communities those can reach out to, Opella’s members protect in silence, much like her. Her members usually are nocturnal, dwelling in the gentle moonlight. Opella is not fond of directly acting herself, but she will when the lives of the ones she favors are at stake, sometimes overstepping her bounds. She will protect her followers over others if it's deemed necessary. In the case of her children fighting, she may choose to stay at the wayside and let them resolve their conflict.
Appearance
Opella’s true form casts darkness all around. Blotting out all forms of light in the area, see spell deeper darkness. While enveloped in this darkness people have claimed to see the bright surface of the moon, and stars blotted in the darkness surrounding.
Her humanoid form is that of a tall regal elf, silver white hair flowing as far as she likes, clad in a glowing white dress. Her very steps leave fleeting aurora of her essence, as though a physical manifestation of moonlight, which gently fades away.
Providence
Those who are favored by the goddess will often find the path revealed to them in the night. Dangers in the night may also be revealed by the moonlight.
While those who anger, or disappoint, her end up struggling through the dark, the flow of life pushing against them
Servants
Igveil, The Moon’s Guard
Igveil is a spectral canine, looking quite similar to a wolf, but bigger and sporting antlers like a deer. The creature has a chilling howl that sends the cursed fleeing. In the case of an ally falling to the effects of some cursed scourge Igveil can focus the light of the moon to remove the roots of corruption from the individual.
The Nights Howl
This spirit is never seen, it’s often mistaken for the winds of night but the howl of night is unmistakably unique upon hearing it. It’s volume keeps awake all inside the howls range, it is often reported as being heard when large hordes of evil are moving through the night nearby.
Yuel, The Nights Huntress
Yuel almost never leaves the moon's surface. She can be seen in times of great need harnessing the moons magical power with Opella’s blessed weapon, Nightfall, a bow made out of Moonstone and strung with pure moonlight. The bow itself lightly glows though runes of purple light glow along the bow itself The power of the bow varies on what is willed, and in the hands of Yuel is a formidable weapon.
Church of Opella
The church of Opella generally is most active in the evening.
Worshipers

Clergy
The clergy of Opella are much like any other clergy, clerics, paladins, warpriests, ect. Save for the fact they have taken the Night Oath. This means they are to be available at any hour of the night.
Temples and Shrines
The temples and shrines of Opella generally have a glass ceiling. The temples are equipped to help those who wander in need of help. Shrines are often set up so that on the full moon they catch the moonlight in such a way that they give off a soft glow.
Those who perform their obedience in the presence of a shrine are blessed by Opellas guidance. They gain the one time ability to use Remove Curse. The Caster level for this will be character level -4 (min +0) and can only be used on humanoids.
The Moonlit Pools
Located in Minutia, these pools of pure moonlight are highly revered for their healing properties. It is said if the cursed enter these pools the curse will be lifted (Any curse with a DC less than or equal to 20). Water taken from these pools can be consumed or added to bathwater to the same effect(DC less than or equal to 15). The water can be used in the aid of casting remove curse to add a +2 to caster level.
The Moons Cascade
Within Minutia a waterfall pours from the mountain’s side. The water has eroded enough of the mountain that if you are to visit on the night of the Mooncrest the moon perfectly is framed by the falls walls. On this night the falls glow brilliantly. Many make a pilgrimage out to this special occasion, as the falls are said to have immeasurable powers on this night.
Moonwatch
This is the Keep of the Brotherhood of the Eve. The “Outpost of the Evening” as they have taken to referring to it. This keep is also home to the Slayers Make a notorious Monster Slaying Guild. The keep is located in Libertalia.
Holy Texts
The holy text of Opella contains many listings of creatures of the night. It gives a +2 on knowledge checks to identify creatures of the night and curses.
The Moonlit Confessions
A highly secretive tome kept locked away by the church. It is said that once Opella was required to give her most protected secrets to another godling. The tome known as The Moonlit Confessions is the only location of these secrets. As after holding her end of the bargain she silenced the godling before they could spread the information.
The Creed of Night
Not a holy text of Opella but one of her cults. This heavy tome is kept in the Moonwatch, and contains the Code of the Brotherhood of the Eve.
Holidays
The Mooncrest Festival
This night comes once a year on the day the full moon is closest to the earth (Chaldonia). The festival lasts through the night and is widely celebrated even among those who do not expressly follow Opella.
Organizations
Legacy of Opella
Opella is known to have involvement with mortals in the romantic form. This band of Hunters claim lineage to Opella. They reject taking part in the day to day lives of civilization, partaking only when it suits them. They prowl the wilderness silently taking care of threats they perceive. They have a hatred for the loud and proud practices of their counterparts The Brotherhood of the Eve.
The Brotherhood of the Eve
The band of elite fighters claim to be the “Vigilants of Opella” they safeguard the night. Despite the name the group is varied in gender and race, though they seem to often be Dhampirs, Tieflings, Fetchlings and those touched by darkness. These who have been touched by darkness have taken the Vow of the Evening Light, and swear to rid the lands of the vile corruption and influence of their foul ancestry. They seek retribution in the moonlights grace, and seek Glory in the destruction of Darkness. While they are a cult, Opella accepts them as followers and includes them under her protection. (These followers are generally NG or LG in alignment)
